While I didn't commission GWCA as my conveyancer, they were managing the sale of the house we were purchasing – and as a result, I was unable to report them to the ombudsman for their terrible service. They lied about the dates for probate being submitted and various other deadlines, and made a number of highly unprofessional mistakes. Not to mentioned consistently getting people's names wrong, which may seem minor, but fundamentally means that legal documents are null and void. The impact this must have had upon the family selling the property, who were still grieving was unimaginable, in terms of extra stress. And is quite frankly, disgusting. This company is a classic example of why people roll their eyes whenever the words 'solicitors and 'delays' are mentioned in a sentence. Avoid like the plague.
