One of my favourite pubs, under the high level station, a short walk via the cobbles, this place is full of character, and stuffed full of railway artifacts. Numerous ales served, together with hot rolls. The real fires will keep you cosy during the short days of winter.
Great pub. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Called in for a few pints on a recent visit. Will certainly call if I'm nearby again.
Best pub in Wolverhampton by far. Might be my favourite pub ever. The service is fantastic, the punters are friendly, the pints are delicious, food is good, the atmosphere is very chill and they have board games to play. I can't recommend this place enough
Lovely little pub next to the railway. Lots of old railway memorabilia on display and a good selection of Holden's beers plus a couple of guests and also the wonderful Batham's Bitter.
Great choice ales n lagers. First time in pub n was made feel very welcome. Real authentic railway station pub. Supporting local brewery which is fantastic to see. Food great n reasonably priced. Well done all staff
The food is simple fare and not fancy but first rate and excellent value for money. The staff are wonderful, so friendly, efficient, and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. I cannot speak highly enough of this venue.
Great little pub and very friendly, the landlady Sharon is welcoming and always has a smile on her face, the regulars always say hello and make you feel welcome. The do a fantastic cheese and onion cob! I live 5 miles away and still use this pub.
used this pub for over 30 years. popped in for a pint and a cob, after a busy morning arranging a funeral. was going to ask the pub to arrange the wake. but not after treatment received from female bar staff. accidently took a sip from what I though was my pint put in front of me. genuine mistake. made to feel like a 2nd rate citizenthe bar staff did nothing to diffuse the situation except replying I am not serving you and threw my drinks down the sink. asked to speak to manager who resolved the problem. bar staff seriously need customer service skills. hence to say will not get my business for a wake of over 30 people. shame on you.
Always a great welcome. Good company, excellent staff. Lovely place to meet friends and have a drink and something to eat
Really great English pub. Staff very friendly, and I will definitely be going there next time I 'm in Wolverhampton
