Good organic produce, and wine. Herbs and spices dispensed in small quantities in paper bags. Bread delicious.

Community run shop, staffed mostly by volunteers.  Offers a mix of very local produce from small scale businesses, small holdings, and allotments/garden surplus.  Also offers some bought in produce from further afield and even some mass produced products with an ethical theme.  Very good quality seasonal fruit and veg (don't search for strawberries in January), excellent selection of local cheeses, superb local eggs, terrific organic and sulphite free wines which aren't available anywhere else locally, and the best place to buy fresh artisan bread (it sells out quick though).  Prices are mid to high (depending on the product), the eggs and herbs/spices are actually very reasonable.
