Wonderful place to explore. The big manor house and gatehouse's are not open to the public but are beautiful to look at. A row of almshouses now art studios sit next to a pretty pond and next to the lovely st Andrews church. Beyond is the grand union canal.

Large and varied park. There are sports pitches, the canal, great for walking and cycling. Children's playground right in the middle. Some nice picnic tables tucked away, particularly along the canal. Quiet, no traffic noise. Giffard Park and Nag's Head pubs v close by, both do food. Plenty of mooring for boats on the far bank.
