I don't know quite understand the complaints, we've recently joined this surgery after moving here and now we can actually see a doctor and get an appointment same day! Previous surgery in Newport was on average 3 weeks wait for an appointment so this surgery is brilliant. I'm so grateful to be in the catchment area. 😃

Absaloutly shocking can't book appointments online told to ring at 8am every morning until they have an appointment you are therefore suppose to have a crystal ball as to when you will become ill and require a doctor's services, by the time you get through after ringing at 8am you have lost the will to live, I know someone who stood outside watching the reception as they rang using thier mobile whilst all the staff were gassing not answering the phones I have nicknamed them the gestapo, if you do go in if it's for an emergency appointment they want to know what's wrong they are not medically qualified and therefore not able to offer any treatment so why would anyone want to talk about personal details in a reception where everyone can hear, as for the doctors they do a good job but the staff on reception needs a wakeup call. Glad to say I rarely use the service but have had family members who have had no choice some of which have moved to Portskewett surgery
