Most underrated historic town with food clubs cafes shops all in 20 minutes from central London!
Awful - dont bother getting the high speed from Gravesend just go straight to Ebbsfleet. Gravesend south eastern staff consistently make commuting a nightmare. They’re present at the gates when your getting off, clogging up the ticket barriers by checking every last detail on peoples tickets. No trust whatsover in people - you’d think they are paying us?! But no - we are paying 40 quid to stand on a dirty high speed train that never has any seats and no wifi. Staff with bad attitudes are also present as your getting on your morning train, rude, unhelpful, stand there like they’re not paid to do anything even though theres usually at least 3 of them to interrogate your ticket. You’d think you’ve committed a crime just trying to get your morning train to work … wish I could walk !!!!
Old traditional place, it's one of the few towns, I can consider to still have a feel of what village live feels like in uk, but big enough to be a city
Gravesend station is a nice station with long platforms and train services to London Bridge, Dartford & Stratford international. Thameslink & southeasten services stop at this station. There are lifts to all platforms & also toilets available inside the station.
This place looks very pretty from in and out. Always enjoy coming here, and look forward to coming into the trains.nnI give it 5 stars purely on its ambience. You can get into London in 19.9 minutes with high speed!! And then u will be seeing the tower bridge in no time! X Very good and speedy service! X never spoken or seen the workers there.
