Beautiful location and grounds. The cabins are basic and not very comfortable. Surface clean. No storage for food other than fridge. The free WiFi was no WiFi. When we asked about it we were told he was having trouble with it but we heard nothing after our first enquiry.nThe description of lodges not very reliable. Our decking was a small patch of level grass. The kitchen shown was not the one actually in our cabin.
Stayed here for a week in June 2024. Very nice location and well priced with stunning views over the village and farm fields.nnVery close to local beaches and walking distance to two local pubs in the area. A short drive to Woolacombe and other larger beaches.nnThe host Justin is very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very comfortable and served all of our needs. Will definitely recommend this place and will book this again for future stays.
Absolutely spectacular experience. Clean, with lovely views. In close proximity to any and all activities, sea side and other hotspots near by. Owners were very friendly and accommodating.
Justin and his girlfriend kept regular daily checks on the lodges was very kind and welcoming to me and I stayed 3 weeks and loved the views and the outstanding beach coves and kayaking.....very good value for money also the loadges and any issues which the wasn't Justin always was at hand to reply to me a d also met and good friendnKind regardsnJeffrey reid
Loved our lodge. Great quiet getaway. Perfect for exploring North Devon. Do please be warned there are steep steps and little slippery when wet. No ideal if mobility issue. The lodge has no central heating visited in November but no worries as the heaters very quickly made it snug. Well equipped and spacious space in the lodge. Shower was lovely. Also having a car, I would say, is strongly advised due to the very steep terrain and rural setting; obviously if you are a hardy walker then no worries as there are nice walks very close by and the village of Babbacombe was picturesque and had a lovely small shop and pub.
