"Gratitude Cafe is a family run independent business and our team are an extension of our family! We are dog friendly and child friendly and have plenty of seating for little ones, as well as books and activities to keep them occupied whilst adults enjoy an excellent coffee. We make our own range of cakes and treats each day and always aim to include at least one GF and vegan option. We have a dedicated stage area with in-house music systems for hosting live music events, and the whole venue can be hired for private functions."

What a lovely place. The staff is creating a warm atmosphere and it’s more like a big family where staff even takes time to have a quick chat instead of just quickly taking your order and your money. I personally don’t mind waiting a minute longer for a amazing service. The food is always delicious from the all day breakfast to the new creations the chef comes up with burgwich or flatbread pizza in pictures as a regular customer I’m always looking forward to the next visit
2nd visit we had lunch this time. Mum had the ploughman's which was presented lovely with good variety. 3 cheeses, ham and pork pie. The pie was the only let down every thing else was delicious. I had pastrami and cream cheese bagel. Delicious, bagel wasn't hard and enough for lunch. Was busy for a Wednesday lunch time. Drinks are good the smoothies and shakes coming out looked yummy feel that I need to try. All reasonably priced. Good atmosphere. 3rd visit, menu changed, Mum had the maple glazed ham, egg, chips and beans. 2 slices of ham delicious, I had avocado, mushrooms, scramble egg on sourdough with a chilli sauce again delicious. Atmosphere as good busy for a Monday.
First time customer. Loved the friendly atmosphere and cheerful staff. The coffee was good. My only observation is that although they serve gluten free cakes they are not covered. They were on the bottom shelf and any crumbs from the non gluten free cakes on the shelves above could fall onto them. For a Coeliac that would be enough to cause a bad reaction. Which also causes damage to the gut. I was offered gluten free toast, but if the servers are unaware of the risks of cross contamination it made me feel very wary so I politely refused. It was a shame as the food looked very good, and I am sure it is. Just not suitable for Coeliacs.
Amazing little cafe. Food was really delicious. I had the bacon, brie and cranberry bagel and I wanted to eat it all over again. My partner had a sausage sandwich and now we need to track down the local butcher to buy those sausages! Milkshakes were really yummy and vegan which worked out well for my lactose intolerant partner! They have live music here and offer alcoholic drinks for later in the day! Don't walk, run to this place!
Wow fantastic interior, and menu, very good atmosphere too, excellent cakes and food, impressed with selection of drinks including the milkshakes
Love this place! The people are so lovely and you are always made to feel very welcome. The cafe itself is quirky and cosy. Food is really nice, and their homemade cakes are divine !! Favourite spot in Wellington.
Came in for the first time today for a coffee. Instead we ended up with a perfect ginsecco made with Aber Falls rhubarb and ginger gin in a large glass, plenty of processo, ice and a strawberry , a Baileys latte and two cakes. They do a bottomless brunch which we will be definitely coming back for. Love it Food: 5/5
