Granvilles Restaurant
"We have been so lucky to be able to use and establish the brilliant Glass Fronted Art Deco styled Morannedd building as our second restaurant, right by the sea in Criccieth.Designed by architectural icon Clough Williams Ellis in the 1930s we hope we have brought this beautiful place back to life both internally and externally. It is a treat for us to work in such a place, looking out across the bay towards Harlech Castle and the Rhinogs or back along our own beach to Criccieth Castle. It is magical, coming to work is a joy and we do hope that visiting us will produce the same feelings."

What a great place. Location is wonderful right at the edge of an amazing sandy beach running off into the distance. We were going to eat inside, but I really fancied the crab sandwich, so we stayed out, and a dude in a mini airstream knocked up our lunch in minutes. Indoors has a 1920s lido feel, and the food is more high brow. On an early sunny spring day, eating a crab roll with a sublimely ace coffee was a great choice and set us up for the day. Lovely place. Lovely staff and great food. Highly recommended
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. The restaurant was ok, it was crowded when we came. The service was great. The cocktail was nice and the dessert was fantastic. And the mains was nice as well. The only problem was on my scallop got some grains in it probably from the grill. Pretty plating as well. Well done to the line chef.
What an amazing restaurant. Set on the beachfront with beautiful views, you get a lovely experience. Food is very good. Service is equally as positive. Not a bad thing to say. We went for Sunday lunch time so got a table no worries. Saturday night was fully booked. Vegetarian options: Sietan katsu and veggie burger. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids in there. Kids menu available
Lovely seaside restaurant serves with excellent seafood dishes. We really enjoyed the seaview and the retro decoration from the restaurant during sunset time. We ordered a really nice Seafood linguine with lot of mussels, clams and shrimp inside. The chowder soup is also very creamy and excellent to eat with bread. Another wild caught halibut is very fresh with perfect combination of leek sauce! There is a corner near the entrance which sells really nice self-made sauces from the restaurant. The tartar sauce and leek oil are really worth to buy! The only thing that is bit disappointing would be the disabled & staff only parking slot. You may have to park outside and pay for it if you want to eat here.
This place is as good as it looks! The fish is cooked to perfection. Unfortunately for is the mussels were sold out and they were slightly understaffed, but the food was worth the wait! The seabass tacos are a must and the seafood chowder is outstanding
Really great view from the art deco-style front windows. Nice service, gluten-free friendly. Delicious but gritty mussels menu warned us they are local and not ripe-grown and prawns both with good bread and garlicky butter. Did not photograph bass fillets over a very savoury but loose and undercooked risotto. We were very happy with our selections and almost chose the tempting seafood pizza. I suspect this place is heaving when weather is warmer so book!!
The coconut dessert was incredible. Lovely starters and mains too. We had the calamari, chicken bao buns, burger and pork steak. A wide variety of food on their menu so something for everyone. The venue is relaxed and comfortable with beautiful views.
Beautiful Art Deco building and setting, just on the sea front. Great food and cocktails. Lovely staff, the waitress was very friendly and helpful. Disabled parking out the front with plenty of room for a wheelchair inside. Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled parking outside restaurant, easy access inside.
Great food with the best views! Highly recommend the Trio of Pork, partner had the Hake which was lovely too. Good menu choices for the children, they particularly enjoyed the Red Boat icecream.
First of all it's great that we could take our dogs, Your sat in an area near the bar with other dog owners. We arrived 15 minutes early and where taken to our seats but told we can't order until 7:30pm that's fine and understandable, however our drinks order wasn't taken until 7:50 and food order after 8pm. Food arrived within about half hour and worth the wait. Full of flavour and nice sizes. However waiting service wasn't great, slow and never asked if the food was OK or if we wanted more drinks. Its just the little things that make a huge difference.
