Rooms were spacious and maintained well. I stayed on the 6th floor which I enjoyed.nnHowever, the service to the room wasn’t the best I waited some time for service and had to call multiple times until I received what I had ordered.nnThe location of the hotel is good as it’s close to the heart of London however if you tend to drive there is no available parking and residential permit holders only in the neighbouring roads.
I stayed at Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge with my husband over the weekend and I realised that I'd left my phone in the room after we checked out and walked out of the hotel. At first, we tried to locate the phone ourselves, but couldn't find it. I then went straight back to the front desk in a bit of a panic. The duty manager, Nissan, was incredibly kind and helpful. He immediately went to check the room and contacted housekeeping. He located my phone quickly, and returned it to me with a smile. The whole process was smooth thanks to his proactive attitude. It was such a relief, and Nissan genuinely saved my day. Excellent service — he’s a real asset to the team!
I chose the Leonardo Hotel as the destination for my birthday party, and overall, it was a fantastic choice. The hotel’s central location just steps from the tube and the Tower of London made it incredibly convenient for getting around.nnFrom the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel’s style and attention to detail. The welcome was warm, with thoughtful touches like complimentary drinks and magazines at the entrance. The breakfast buffet was another highlight: varied, plentiful, and delicious. Staff throughout the hotel were courteous, professional, and genuinely helpful.nnThe only downside—and I say this with some regret—was the cleanliness of the bed sheets in my room. Unfortunately, they had mold stains, which was disappointing. However, reception responded very quickly and professionally, had the sheets changed right away, and reported the issue to their superiors. Their swift action helped mitigate the problem.nnDinner at the hotel restaurant was a lovely experience as well. The menu offered a good variety, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing—perfect for the occasion.nnDespite the issue with the sheets, I would still recommend the Leonardo Hotel and would happily return for another stay. With just a little more attention to housekeeping, it would have been perfect.
Huge line-up when checking in. Not enough receptionists. Even if there is then 2 receptionist helping 1 person. Receptionist don't pick up phones. Housekeeping staff don't knock when entering. U have to pay £50 deposit to use mini bar. Ridiculous! Rooms were nice and big but that's it! Lazarus in concierge was amazing. Made us feel welcomed and was very helpful abd friendly!
The hotel is pretty outdated, definitely too expensive for what it is. Booked a suite and the room was pretty old and not so clean. And good luck waiting for the elevator to come to 14th floor, I’m not exaggerating when I say we waited for 10 mins almost each time. The service is ok but I would expect much better from a 4 star hotel. The executive lounge is just unacceptable- wooden pastries and soggy yoghurts.
