Love this cafe. Always come here when we visit Lewes. Great coffee and flapjack in a wonderful location
I got married here 12 years ago we always go back for a visit. It doesn't change I love it and the gardens are always beautiful
Basic filter coffee available from small booth. Actual cafe not open during pandemic. Not bad while one strolls through pleasant gardens, cared for, amazingly, by just one lady gardener.
A tranquil oasis in a sleepy area of town. Floral flower beds are currently a little between seasons but the gardens are always well maintained within the setting of the Grange building, the old stone walls and the backdrop of the high street and castle. A great spot to sit and read, let the kids play on the grass or just enjoy the formal gardens.
Friendly staff, home made cakes and delicious ice cream, not to mention the lovely garden full of beautiful flowers you get to enjoy for free!
Amazing location within the public gardens. A little kiosk hole in the wall just under the incredible magnolia tree. Freshly made sandwiches, homemade cakes, teas, coffees, cold drinks and Ice creams are available to order. All drinks and food are served on China cups and plates. The sandwich selection seems neverending! The cakes are delicious, my favourite so far is the lemon drizzle! The staff are friendly and helpful, although remember it's essentially an ice cream van so there will be a little wait for food if they are busy! No cappuccinos or lattes here, but good Rombouts coffee and a lovely selection of fruit and herb teas. The Marshfield ice-cream they sell is amazingly good All in all a lovely place to visit with friends...or even just to sit with a mug of tea and people watch! Just remember it is cash only!! I learnt the hard way!
Excellent walk through and a good spot to sit down while can have some great looking photos as well. Great stuff to see and lots of floral displays and walks to be done.
Lovely made to order sandwiches. It is tucked away at the end of the gardens and well worth a visit
Good set of garden area and affording a few hours of things to see. Good for photos and a sit in. There is a cafe and seating in the open position as well.
Beautiful, tucked away cafe that's great for a simple sandwich, tea, coffee, or cake in the park. Very reasonably priced and nice staff.
