We visited Saturday lunchtime with no booking, there is a lot of outdoor seating so we were able to get a table no problem, though this may not be the case on sunnier days.nnWe enjoyed the food, though it's a little on the pricey side as people say £5 for a glass of orange juice. 2 meals and 2 drinks set us back £38.nnWe went for a canal walk afterwards which was beautiful and then came back for ice cream. There is a separate queue for take out and we did have to wait for 10mins or so. £4 for a 1 scoop cone but generous size and very tasty. Lots of flavours to choose from.nnYou can also buy tubs of ice cream from the freezer in the take out section to take home. Very dog friendly place and staff were accommodating and polite. Lovely atmosphere and would happily return.
Amazing place. Both the Uppermill park and Diggle canal locations are beautiful and in picturesque surroundings. The food is incredible and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend the desserts. Can't wait to come back again.
The ice cream was fantastic and the scoop sizes were generous. The location is really pretty. We parked at Saddleworth Museum and took a nice 35-minute walk along the canal to get there. There are benches outside, so you can sit and relax with your ice cream. Lots of flavours to choose from, I went with salted caramel and kinder. Highly recommend it!
Gifted an afternoon tea for my 60th birthday and as I'd never eaten here before we decided today was the day. Very accommodating staff friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble and sandwiches and cakes were lovely although we did have to bring home a doggy bag as there was just too much for one sitting. Dog friendly too which was a bonus and didn't have to eat outside like most establishments
For the price it’s an absolute rip off. I’ve heard good things about this place over the years so thought I’d try.nnFirst of all they won’t let you alter anything about any of the menu options.nnThen the chips here were £4.50!? As they don’t come with your order. Not just that but they were cheap, thin frozen fries from the supermarket, not even cooked properly.nnThe pulled pork bagel was okay but I’ve been ill ever since eating it and the rocket.nnThe orange juice I ordered came half full.nnFor the price this place is an absolute rip off especially with other options round the corner now.nnI get the impression it’s somewhere that was very good but has expanded beyond its means, cutting corners and taking profits by charging an extortionate amount.
