A wonderful indoor market with wide range of stalls. Meat, fish and veg. specialists were particularly impressive with superb quality, range and pricing. Many food outlets as well, offering wide range of food and drinks.
Grainger Market in Newcastle is a decent spot to explore, but I found it just okay overall. One of the interesting features is that it has multiple entry gates from different roads, which makes it easily accessible from various parts of the city. The market has a mix of stalls offering fresh produce, meats, and independent shops, but nothing really stood out as exceptional. It’s a convenient place to grab a quick bite, with a variety of food vendors, but the overall experience felt a bit underwhelming. While it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area, I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again.
Wonderful market! Lovely to wander around and look at all the different stalls. Something for everyone! Highly recommend Snackwallah for tasty Indian food! Pumphrey’s coffee for a really good hot drink and Firebrick brewery for some local beer to take away.
A big market for almost all-purpose groceries and household items. I loved the theme shops of animie, candles and scents. There is also alot of cusine from different parts of world and desi street foods like tea, loempias, golgappa, soups, koffie, drinks etc.
An old probably a heritage market. You can find cheap groceries here. This place also a favorite place for seniors since there are many old restaurants and cafes. It is clean and spacious.
