Grainger market is a great place to visit if you are in the city especially if you are shopping for fruit are meat the fruit shops are just great and so fresh and definitely value for your money you get quite alot for your pound then the butchers are great aswell for value plus you got the little cafes where you can get a good English breakfast plus a cuppa there is also places that you can get a good tasty meal for good price this place is well worth your visit
Really enjoyed the Grainger Market - a few empty stalls/shops but the quality of the available stores is really good. Geordie Bangers sausage rolls are something else!
I do love the market! We go for fruit and veg on a regular basis, you get much better quality than supermarkets and the price is good too! We also love rhe cheese stall.nThere are plenty of stalls selling allsorts of things, from food to clothes and keepsakes, and lots of places to eat. It's clean
A market that local would also go. Best place to have a breakfast or tea break. The bakery and butcher are the highlight there. Fresh veg and fruits too.nnTry to join the dots with Newcastle China Town near by.
Really enjoyed the Grainger Market during my first trip to Newcastle. When I visited in April, they had no public toilets which is not ideal for somewhere that sells food and drink but the mall isn’t very far so it wasn’t a problem. Loved the variety of stalls and highly recommend the coffee from North Shore.
