Graham Davis Commercials has always looked after us from supply to maintenance. We would not go anywhere else and it is worth the travel from Mablethorpe. Highly recommended for that peace of mind, care and service.

Graham Davis (Commercials) LTD Unfortunately I didn’t see a similar review before I went to Graham Davis for a tow bar fitting. I firstly asked for a quote for a detachable tow ball to fit my 2015 Skoda Octavia MK3. He obliged quickly with a quote which was on the cheap side to others so I queried it. He confirmed the quote. When I went in to confirm the booking he backtracked and stated a “removable” tow ball couldn’t be done for the price and that the detached he quoted for could be “removed “ by undoing the bolts! Anyway after negotiating the merits of the various types I ordered a fixed flange with “dedicated” electrical loom to Skoda spec. On the day of the fitting I arrived to find he had ordered the wrong parts. It being a swan neck. He apologised and offered to knock some off so I agreed (should have seen the warning signs!). He also stated that it was “a simple download” to code it! What was to be a 5 hour fit turned out to last two days! I inspected the fit and noticed three vertical chip marks on the bumper which weren’t there before. The fitter acknowledged it was his fault and Graham readily offered to get it put right by “chips away” type firm. Not happy but at least he offered to do the right thing. I picked the car up after the fit and immediately the sensors picked up the tow bar. The in car software didn’t detect the trailer fit which it should do. I had the functionality of no more than a bypass electric fitting. Although he confirmed that diagnostics had been done. So after visits to a Skoda dealer (to code the tow bar) who were helpful but unable to give full functionality I went to Ricci Concept in Hull who were brilliant. I now have full coded tow bar with trailer recognition and trailer stability programming through VCDS. Graham said he had tried to get a chip repair man locally but they weren’t there anymore. Not hearing anything I suggested two local firms…waited no response. I then got a full quote from Chips Away in Hull and offered to travel at my own expense to get it done…no response. Graham said he did tow bar fits for local dealers including a £60, 000 Mercedes from the dealer across the road.. So I finally got there but no without a damaged bumper, a glove box not put back properly with the soft close hanging (access to the fuse box) and tolls marks on the fuse box access panel. All I can say is avoid at all costs. Talks a good job but…
