Terrible dinner, we had to abandon the meal. The local BP wine and delivered dinner was far better. I can't see how this is in the Timeout top restaurants in Cambridge, perhaps the old team have left. The fish was so off we could smell it before we saw it, and as it sat on the empty table next to us. The venison was served cold. Both were on drab, uninspired and overly cooked veg. The 3 wines that we tried were atrocious and the "large" was 175ml and approaching £8 each. The servers were inexperienced and didn't really have a clue, a sunken souffle was served with a fork.
This restaurant, inside the Hotel Felix, has large parking area and amazing food. The staff are polite and service is very quick. Although it is a bit pricey it is worth every penny for the experience. You can go by yourself or with a partner, and it is suitable for large groups. There is an area for weddings and a beautiful outside garden with large trees and seating there is also seating indoors. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has a special occasion, like a party, or if you simply want a nice meal I am sure that it will be an enjoyable experience.
overpriced chocolate chip cookies,called some posh name and not even tasty: too sweet and mushy. Supposedly home made brownie completely frozen. It took them more than an hour to bring coffies and deserts .The staff seemed to be stressed and not happy : we saw many people complaining about both:waiting time and quality of food. Beautiful place however all the rest must be changed.
