If I could leave zero stars I would. They give you such an unnecessary attitude on the phone it really threw me. I will also add that the reception team of this establishment were extremely unprofessional talking about their cost of living and household projects for the entire waiting room to endure through. I had a very brief appointment with with Dr N Bakhtiari. The whole experience felt robotic and lacked compassion. He didn’t even look at me the entire appointment, I felt like I was on a conveyer belt. I told him my struggles and the things I was going through and I found him incredibly abrupt and unable to come up with any good advice. I left the appointment crying my eyes out. I’ve had a similar experience with another doctor here. They lack empathy and are extremely rude and just want you out quicker than you came in and this is where our taxes go? It’s unbelievable. Stay away from this place.
My experience at GP Direct has been excellent. Staff very pleasant and cooperative. Receptionist understanding. Doctors I have seen so far are very good. Never had any problems since I joined them 4 years ago.
My partner had to cancel her shift because she was feeling not great but not unwell enough to go to A&E. Waited for 2 weeks after blood test just to be seen by a Doctor That was fine no issues at all but due to the bad weather today My partner was late for less than a few minutes and Doctor decided and not to see my Partner anymore. The worst part of it was that my partner was already in the Surgery building and staff didn't even bother to offer assistance. I know my partner was unwell but as we both are health care professionals to know that we dont need to go to A&E for the symptoms she are experiencing.
I had my IUS fitting process done with Dr Yacoob. The doctor was amazing with a great knowledge of sexual and reproductive health. Getting an appointment was a bit tough though. I had to call multiple times so improving the signposting pathway would be great.
In my 30 years of life I have never had a worse experience than this GP. I went to the end of June with certain complaints, the doctor examined me and gave me a referral for several tests, after which he promised to provide treatment. The tests showed a probable cause, but instead of receiving help, I was again sent for blood tests and other tests, after which my case was closed because they DID NOT FIND CANCER, although I came with a different problem. Yesterday I went to a consultation again, and delicately asked for help again, but the doctor said that in his opinion I do not need any treatment, I need to walk more in the fresh air, and everything will go away on its own within a few months. I consider such an attitude shameful and unprofessional, and it is not about one specific person, the problem is much deeper.
