Lovely little diner in the heart of the shopping street of Douglas. When you enter there is a subtle Alice in wonderland theme that takes me back to some good childhood memories. Add to that the cosy feel of the place as you watch people walking up and down Strand Street through the windows. The staff are always friendly and helpful, always ready to add that little extra to their service that makes you want to keep coming back. And that's all before you've even tasted the food! The fries and the toasties I've enjoyed there have all been fresh, hot, wonderfully tasty and perfectly spiced to bring out the flavours. Their milkshake menu is so vast you can customise your own or choose from a list of pre-set variations. And they don't disappoint, full of flavour and always to the same great standard that keeps us going back time and time again. Definitely would recommend.
I visited with friends for a cake and a drink; I was not disappointed. I built my own milkshake which was delicious. I also had some lotus brownie balls to share which were delicious. I bought a Cadbury boost brownie to take home and this was absolutely delicious. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a milkshake this much!
What an awesome and scrumptious breakfast righting the very centre of Douglas.. Great friendly service too.

First time visiting this place for a quick snack, good friendly service and quick service too. Then what I saw presumed was the restaurant manager and noticed the pressure on the staff faces as he appeared to be giving his orders. I say to the staff, don't be intimidated by his attitude. I was a secret shopper

Big breakfast with coffee was spot on apart from the bacon which was close to cremation so unfortunately only 4 stars, chunky monkey milkshake was 10/10

Great food, amazing shakes! Would be 5 stars if they would renovate the place. Looks a bit dated and tables not completely clean.
Poor food consistency, also poor milkshake quality. I have noticed recently the shake lounge has gone down hill since the refit, the staff are a lot less friendly and helpful. Service with a smile is a rarity here. I have had food here before and loved it thought it was good for a decent price, now the prices are higher, the food is poor. The head chef/owner does have a chef of the year award I just wish the kitchen team had the same. I have seen how the owner responds to these criticisms, with snide comments and "well this person liked it" I ordered the waffle fries with cheese and gravy, gravy had skin, cheese was to much to stomach, and the fries were oily and soggy.
