Attended the Minor Injuries unit on Wednesday following a tumble resulting in grazes and bump on the head. I was seen fairly quickly and went through the usual triage and measurement routines with very nice staff who were friendly and explained everything. Then seen by Practitioner Dan "The Man", he said who sorted me out very well. Thanks for excellent prompt attention and treatment to Reception, Triage, Technicians, X-Ray nothing broken thankfully and The Man who was epic but not, apparently the EPIC on the day !. Much appreciated.
Can Not Believe how rude the sexual health clinic are! The Karen with the short red hair bob haircut, sat behind the reception desk you really need to be more considerate about patients - You don't know what there going threw / Just nattering away to a colleague - Learn some manners
Excellent service today in Minor injury dept. Great staff, was seen by nurse Trish Hollings lovely lady, as were the other nurses! Keep up the good work everyone. Thank you
No help at all, doctor was dismissive and rude interrogating as to why I didn't go to St Mary's as I live in Portsmouth, even though I told him multiple times I work in gosport and its easier to get to for me. Then he dismissed my concerns and pretty much sent me off empty handed. Went in for help as 111 online and my doctors told me to seek medical advice and was made to feel stupid for going in with my symptoms. Was stood at reception for 5-10mins before I even got signed in also
Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Came with a splinter in my hand without being able to move it properly and they just laughed in my face saying “what did you think we were gonna do”. If I could give them zero starts I would. Genuinely all they cared about was the end of their shift because apparently we came “too late” like sorry? Do I get to choose what time I get an injury? They were just asking us all the time what we think should be done about it instead of them actually doing anything to help me. Absolutely awful.
I'm hardly a user of the NHS, but after badly hurting my toe on holiday, I had to resort to coming to the Minor Injuries Unit this evening. Despite being reasonably busy, I was surprised by how promptly I was dealt with. From Reception, through Triage, Practitioner and X-Ray, the customer service was very good. The NHS gets a bad wrap, but that's because a combination of their unbelievable workload because of the nature of our society, coupled with poor business management at a high level. However, the frontline are brilliant and I've encountered that today. Many thanks.
I visited the minor injuries clinic. The staff were amazing - kind caring friendly & funny. All sorted in less than 40 minutes. Amazing service.
Like most hospitals there's a wait before being seen, but the staff are very good at their jobs, as hospitals go this one is quite small, therefore they have fewer staff, so bring a good book to read, overall I like this place
The general setting is clinically clean. Having helped / entertained my son/myself with fractures etc. The staff provide an outstanding and very thorough service; with exceptional knowledge. Thankyou.
I attended a Physiotherapy appointment today: I was just commenting to my partner how lovely the hospital environment is: so clean, with the corridors beautifully presenting photographs and artefacts representing Gosport and Lee as well as local history and that of the hospital- it gives a real sense of pride in the Hospital for staff and anyone attending. My physio appointment was excellent and Ashley gave me advice I was very confident in. It’s good to be able to give a local service a good review: it was an uplifting experience to visit a service that gave such a marvellous impression.
