Friendly helpful staff - a regular quick come and go 10-15 minute turnaround, cheap and simple system no need to book and a ticket out is a return you can use days appart compared to other ferries. Good views from sundeck.

The ticket office is in the building opposite the ferry wharf terminal. There are no one way tickets available - you have to buy a return. I managed to lose mine on the short journey to the ferry from the ticket office, which was particularly stupid of me.

The ferry is a short trip between Portsmouth to Gosport at £3.60 for a return is little extensive, but when you compare this with time spent going the long way around IRS a must.
