My experience of this pharmacy changes from one visit to the next, sometimes I've had missing prescriptions in my order, the staff are rude, difficulty contacting the store by phone don't bother emailing themand on other occasions there will be staff that are friendly & helpful, my prescriptions ready & complete when I visit, if not busy will have my prescription filled early. Visits are never the same at Gospel Lane pharmacy
Every single time I pick up my medisons, there always something missing. I even ring the chemist before I go, because I know they never get my medication right. I have had a stroke, so now I have to get Taxis there and back, and at £4.50 there an £4.50 back = £9.50. The staff are always plesent. But as I say it's very frustrating!!
Pharmacist went above and beyond for me even though the Swanswell medical center caused a nightmare for us as per usual. Thank you
Disgusting service, total chaos and complete disorganisation... Rude pharmacist and mostly incompetent staff! Have been given wrong prescription and an empty box of what should've been migraine tablets recently! Also I had to make 4 seperate trips over as many days to this pharmacy for my 'dying' dad's meds that should've been given to us in one go.... Luckily he's still with us! I know this shop has had problems however when you stand there for 5 minutes in an empty shop and nobody has noticed a customer waiting because they're far too busy having congregated out back for a chin wag or a good laugh it's transparent to see why everything's in total disarray! I wouldn't have given any stars out of five but it didn't give me the option.
Never ready. Always losing prescribes. 20 minutes and still waiting Only 30.mi uses in all. Nice to hear laughter out the back of the shop. I'm I a joke THEN
Disorganised. They make you wait to just give them an order for script and can be raining or snowing. Okay there have been covid restrictions but people are ill and surely you could have put something in place can drop.orders then go. Takes approx 4 days for prescription to be prepared. When you return it isnt there and you have to wait for it to be prepared whilst people are still waiting outside or you are told that it wasn't ordered. When you explain it was the young female staff become quite rude and dont back down instead of going and doing relevant checks. This has happened nearly every time and I have been left without my medication and feeling upset. When I tell them it has finished they make me wait another 4days and arent prepared to do it sooner. They have a lot of staff and dont keep up with the tons of orders on the floor. They need an organised system and cooperative staff. Its manic and stressful.i dread going there .
Good covid restrictions in place, you have to wait outside if 2 people already in shop. Makes you feel safe. Usually pretty busy, best to pick quieter times to collect medication.
If what I have seen on the internet is true about charging £11.96 for Calpol then the place should be shut down and their license stripped. In a time like this AND it is a childs medicine is an absolute disgrace. Everybody should know about the place and get it shut down. Absolutely disgusting profiteering.
popped into the pharmacy next door to the surgery i work for to get some calpol for my teething niece... £6.50. Went to collect my own prescription later on from Gospel lane pharmacy, £12 for the same bottle! How can the pharmacy justify charging nearly DOUBLE for paracetamol FOR BABIES AND CHILDREN? Pandemic and mass panic aside, normal sickness and fevers still need treating and capitalising on pain relief for children is just completely immoral.
Very bad poor service, I bought a canestan combi from them, came home opened it and found inside the pack was tampered, the foil was broken and an item was missing. My daughter took it back straight away within the half hour and showed him Narundra Nandra the pack, without any explanation he straight away blamed my daughter and called her a liar and made her very upset. After he was explaining the rules and we should have checked packages before we left, whoever will check this stuff when you buy them from behind the counter. I bought this for £15.99 and he didn’t exchange it or refunded my money. This was a unfair trade. Never go there again.
