Knowing that this is a local business we attempted to support today by opting to buy fence paint here instead of going to a high-street place, even though the price point is much more expensive here. However, on my travel home the supposedly “sealed” paint tin completely lost its top which leaked 5 liters of paint across a brand new car. Distraught I rang the store up to explain the situation, to which there was absolutely NO customer support, the advice given was to contact the paint company direct. This paint tin had obviously been tampered with and it is the responsibility of Goodwins to check their stock before it is sold to their customers. I am disappointed that there has been no apology or help offered. I wouldn’t  recommend going again. I was also made to feel as if this was my problem instead of the establishment taking responsibility for their items.

This shop is fab it's such a little treasure trove and it's so practical. The amount of times I've needed fiddly little things for annoying D.I.Y jobs and this place has had the items I'm looking for and very helpful advice. If on a rare occasion this one doesn't have it in stock it has a sister shop in Coningsby less than 4 mile away by car which usually will. If you are unsure on a job or unsure on the tools you'll need for a D.I.Y jobs they'll give you honest advice which is very helpful. They sell other items like paint, signs, plumbing supplies, gardening bits and bobs, household items and kitchen supplies. It really Is a little shop of happy for any D.I.Y lover and anyone wanting some bits for the home at a reasonable price.

I came from Skegness to Woodhall Spa to fix a fence and ended up 2 screws short. Popped in to grab some screws and they gave me the 2 screws for free so I didn't have to buy a box. To some people it might not seem much but to me it says a lot about them and how they help people and aren't just there to make money. Once again thank you and merry Christmas.

Always go goodwins for anything fit, great price, very friendly staff who go out of their way to help and can't thank the shop enough plus they got everything you can think of and if not they will get it delivered 9 times out of 10 next day

They always have everything you could ever need, with such helpful and knowledgeable staff. Massive stocks, and if they haven't got it they can get it either later the same day or the day afterwards, I never go anywhere else.
