This castle surprised me with its beautiful views

Good for history buffs. The audio trail is now available via your smartphone but you need a qr scanner app plus a data connection. Despite being miles from anywhere the only place we struggled with a connection was in the gatehouse lots of stone!. Beautiful views from the top of the keep of the surrounding area. Well worth a visit.

We was blessed with fantastic clear blue skies, Goodrich is a fantastic Castle lots to see and plenty of photo opportunities, will be going back.

Goodrich castle is a fantastic site with wonderful views and a well maintained grounds for exploration

Enjoyable visit to Goodrich Castle in Herefordshire. Having undergone a total revamp with a new shop tearoom / restaurant. This impressive medival castle perched high on a rocky outcrop doesn't disappoint

We used the car park at the castle as the centre for our walk along the river Wye.  The castle access was controlled, bookings only.

It's just a great way to spend your time and is very educational
