Possibly the worst experience of a business we have ever encountered. Apart from extortionate charges for fantastical work which cannot be justified logically by any staff member this was our experience: Messages never passed on to colleagues and then calls never returned. When requesting security deposit back they ask for all sorts of unnecessary information that is not part of any government deposit scheme. When they are called up on this they either lie, avoid calls, or are completely oblivious to the actual regulations within the I diary they work. This is a terrible example of an estate agents letting property. Even if we found a dream house through this company I'd rather let it go to reduce risk.
Chapter of disasters with this agent. Terrible service, poor communication and failure to market the property once the tenant had given notice. We've lost a good deal of money using Goodchilds as they failed to notify us for 3 months of a tenant not paying and did not compensate us. Avoid them and use an agent with a well trained professional team instead.
A professional, but yet quirky agent who delivers results. As a landlord I find Goodchilds take a genuine interest in the properties they manage. I have a couple lets with them and have used their services for the past 3 years. They react speedily to changes in the market and work hard for both tenant and landlord - highly recommended.
I wouldn't use this estate agent again if somebody had a gun to my head! The worst customer service iv ever experienced! Conmen and bully's would be the only way to describe them they took every penny of my money they possibly could and gave me the most shocking service possible in return! Faults with my house were left un-repaired for weeks, charged me more rent than I was supposed to pay, left me waiting for 2 hours to return my keys and then turned up with no paperwork, refused to answer there phones and promised to call back but never did! The list goes on and on! If I could afford the solicitors fees would have taken them to court in a heart beat! I hope to god trading standards catch up with them and shut them down they are a disgrace and I wouldn't phone he fire brigade if there offices were on fire ! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!
Awful. Wouldn't deal with them again even if someone paid me. We rented from them for years with no issues and really trusted them but upon trying to move out of a property and to another estate agents, I was spoken to like rubbish, lied to and had to chase my deposit with no communication from them for 2 months. Glad to be shut of them.
Excellent estate agents, feedback was given on a weekly basis and any questions asked were answered in good time. I would definitely recommend goodchilds.
Terrible customer service, a complete let down, phone calls not returned, no feedback, unreliable in carrying out requests, poor communication between staff, failed to rent our property and constantly put on hold, I would not recommend renting your property with this company.
Quick to take money but take ages to return money! No communication and problems never get resolved without constantly chasing them
Worst customer service we have had in years won't return calls lost viewings no feed back broke all promises they made would not recommend
