Absolutely terrible experience, took my two girls 9 & 10, balls were flying into the bays from other bays one even came through hole in the net, foul language from other users, the top tracer screens wouldn’t connect, the mats are a disgrace a piece of carpet would be better and for anyone that is moderately serious about practicing the balls are a mix of rejects and you won’t hit them same type twice. Kids asked to leave before they hit all the balls we’d bought @ £12 for 100. Clearly it is lacking investment and any kind of management.
Very poorly run and expensive considering your getting what look like decade's old balls that are mostly damaged, mats that are knackered and worn out and non existent tees. Yes £12 for 100 balls isn't that expensive but then the one near Pwllheli is £10 for 100 with TopTracer and all the balls are the same brand and washed, not caked in mud. The Trafford centre range is only £13 for 120! Could be a great place but just seems to be no interest in taking care of it
Pretty disappointing really. The concept is great but the implementation of it is poor. Tried 5 bays, none worked with top tracer system. Tees are completely lacking. £12 for 100 balls isn't expensive but it's not cheap either, so with no tracking system working, it's not value for money. Range balls are poor quality, complete mix of all sorts and mostly totally worn down. Bays and mats are at least ok. As a option to get a bit of swing...fine...as a decent range for practice...awful.
Uodate November 25: price has gone up considerably, yet quality is worse...balls not washed, so most had lumps of mud on them. A bucket of 100 used to be £10...now i think its 12. I have it a second chance but I'm done with it.nnI like that there is top tracer on every bay, but the other issues with the place do, I'm afraid, spoil things: really poor range balls many cracked, mixed in with people's old practice balls means you don't know how far you're really hitting; litter everywhere; most bays were missing the rubber tees; everywhere was soaked when i last went as the rain just blows in the front of the bays not sure what could be done about that; nobody in charge so when you get groups of loud mouthed yobs spoiling it for everyone, nothing is done about it; remnants of a set of rugby posts still half-standing in the field for some reason. I could go on. £10 would be fine once in a while WITHOUT these issues, but I'm done with the place now.
Great value for money, never busy. Could do with a staff member once every couple of hours or so to clean up/ empty the bins/sweep the rubbish. Needs a slight bit of TLC. Not much in the sense of targets as stated on the website there was only a washing machine and a cement mixer. Would still 100% return.
