Delicious ice cream! Great service from a young gentleman, who let me try a flavour before purchasing. They had sooo many flavours to choose from, there is definitely something for everyone. They sell dog friendly ice cream too!
Drove there to get takeaway. For some reason they were no longer selling food 2 hours before close although they said earlier in the day they would serve till 7pm. Nice ice cream though.
Easily the best burger I've had on the wight, Serving staff are friendly and open. Plenty for your money, no bold claims about themselves, however had a line every time we passed, simple advertisements outside stating prices, a definite must in Ventnor.
Lovely service and humongous portions for a fair price. Loved the ice cream, rum and raisin was delicious. Just cross the road to the beach. They accept. Are payments, paid £7 for two double portions.
Every time I visit the island I find another little nugget of loveliness…..has to be said this place is this visits. Friendly, chatty staff and food was amazing. One of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten!
Not too sure about the hand battered fish, from my experience in this industry the fish did not taste fresh and from the uniform shape of the fish it looked as if it was fried from frozen. I'd liked to be proved wrong. The fish did not come away in flakes as expected if made from fresh. The batter was heavy and quite clumpy. The chips were fried from frozen and were a bit tasteless. Husband said it was the worst he'd ever had. We didn't finish this and a lot of it went into the bin. There was quite a wait but wouldn't have minded if it was good quality. Not recommended although the server behind the counter was lovely though. *Update- didn't realise my review would cause such a barbed response. I understand when running a business you have all the overheads - equally and sadly, I feel the same when paying for food and it's not up to a certain standard. Especially in light of the fact that I work very hard to earn it. I still stand by my review 100%. IQF - never has been used in the family business I've seen similar reviews on TripAdvisor so I'm not the first. You mention my previous reviews; I give credit where credit is due and I don't mind paying for quality food. You have many good reviews, I suggest you embrace those and wish you the best in this climate. .
Fabulous chippy, lovely crispy chips and excellent batter. They also serve delicious ice cream, the rhubarb and custard was delicious!! Right on the beach and very reasonable, all in all definitely worth a visit!
The food is cooked to order, the fish and chips are delicious and second to none. The staff are really friendly and professional I ordered from a very pleasant young man and picked my order up from a lovely girl both impressed with their customer service.Also prices are very reasonable considering the seafront position.
Best Fish and Chips on this side of the island, possibly the best ? Friendly and helpful staff, they make some awesome milkshakes too.Take out only nowadays, which isn't a problem , there is a whole beach to sit on...
