Welcome to Golden Sands Facebook Page.

We are the new owner to this lovely little takeaway. We only opened since November 2016, and during this time we have heard a lot of customers mentioned the folks who used to own this place cooks amazing food so as we are the newcomers, we hope we will try and keep this standard up for you all regulars. BUT keep that in mind, our chef have his own style and way of cooking so therefore if some meals are different to the food you used to get, please do not be surprised as we are still trying our best to figure out the best taste for the loyal regulars and provide new styles of meal for everyone to enjoy. :)

We would like to have feedback on the food you get from us and improve from there.

I ordered a vegetable chow mein with black bean sauce about 6months ago and it was extremely over salted, I complained and the chef came to my door n apologised and said he's still learning and that he thought he had over salted it, so tonight 6months later I thought I'd try and order it again holy f##k it was disgusting well over salted, I phoned and the chef was very ignorant and offered no other meal and only 3¼ of my money bk, he never apologised and wanted the meal bk, I will NEVER order from here again, I just hope my returned meal didn't go to someone else,
Chicken satay was good, but was really disappointed with the kung po King prawns and the sweet and sour chicken cantonese... Not sure if I will be back anytime soon.
The worst Chinese food that I have ever had.
I've eaten from here a good number of times now, and every time my food has been top notch, if you like a really spicy curry. Then try the Green Thai curries, they are superb.
Sweet and sour chicken, Cantonese style tasteless, bland chicken, bitter taste! Waste of money, in the bin... Haven't been since last year, has the chef changed so disappointed tonight
Ordered myself a portion of salt and chilli chicken with fried rice and it was absolutely deliocus, curry was lovely was not to spicy it was just right, didn't take too long arrive either, great place
Bought a chicken curry snack box not enough sauce very dry.

Good service ... Nice food.. healthy portions ... Shall go again..
Food was excellent and plenty of it was staying at sandyland would recommend highly wish it was my local takeaway
