For the traditional London Pie & Mash, head to the Golden Pie, excellent service, delicious food and very reasonable prices, highly recommended.

Well worth a visit. Authentic pie, mash, liquor and eels - just how it should be. Great service too. Highly recommended - will be visiting again.

I being the partner of the previous reviewer can authoritatively say that she was completely wrong!  Although this shop may not have the history of some of the others, it’s pie and mash is as authentic as it gets, albeit without the rusty cutlery.  If you love pie and mash as much as I do, then this establishment cannot be missed. Do yourself a favour and and head down here asap for a great value meal that can’t be beaten.

Discovered Golden Pie in Clapham Junction. The decor of Golden Pie was similar to Electric Rooms in Norwood. As I wasn't that hungry, I just had the pie and liquor which cost 3.50. Before adding the white pepper and vinegar, I tried the liquor first and to my surprise it was salty compared to other pie mash places I have tried. The pie casing itself was a bit soft like it hadn't risen and there and I could taste some pork lard which had gone a bit funny. Overall, I had to try it anyway for my records.

Genuine Pie Mesh really comfy place to have a meal. Staff is really helpful and welcoming. Must try atleast once if you’ve never had it before. You can also order food online and by calling them for a takeaway. Has a Washroom.
