Excellent. Staff were welcoming & cheerful, the service was efficient. The food was superb - & portions were generous. The clean & tidy restaurant was comfortably full of evidently happy diners, generating a warm & convivial atmosphere. Our party of four enjoyed a very pleasant & reasonably priced evening at The Golden Panda. Well done!
Cooked to order and the food was beyond expectations. Very tasty, great portion size and great value. Will be making this our new regular take away. The staff were very accommodating and quick. Can’t ask for more.
Disappointing first visit, long black hair floating in my partners soup and they got my starter wrong, mains sweet and sour chicken were flavourless, including the egg fried rice, staff seemed clueless on entrance except nice young man named Brendan who tried to find me the table I reserved with a woman who had no idea about it even though we spoke only minutes before on the phone. Did not check on us during meal and cleared half of the table, then did not come back to finish it. Had to go up and collect the bill otherwise I think I would still be sitting there as I write this review. Awful, do not recommend
Honestly so delicious. Have lived in Woodbridge for a year and I’ve never had food from here. Saw a recommendation on a Woodbridge Facebook page from someone who is also vegan and decided to try. I am absolutely gutted that I’ve wasted a year of not experiencing the delights of the Golden Panda. The appetisers were delicious - we got the satay skewers. Then four mains we had chow mein, homemade Szechwan sauce with tofu and vegetables and salt n pepper tofu. There’s lots of meat options too which looked and smelt amazing, going to bring some meat eater friends here in a few weeks. Vegetarian options: So many options with vegetable or tofu.
Just back from living overseas for 4 years, and we couldn't wait to get a good Chinese takeaway. Oh boy, this wasn't it. The sweet and sour vegetables dish was dreadful- a grey, watery sauce and old-tasting vegetables. We couldn't eat it. Photo attached, next to the extra portion of sweet and sour sauce we ordered which looked and tasted completely different to the sauce accompanying the veg. The won tun were soggy, the satay skewers had too many slimey mushrooms and a sauce that tasted claggy with cornflour. The rice, the seaweed and the black beans with tofu were pretty good, but overall this was a big disappointment
We recently had a takeaway from here, it was expensive and the first time ever we threw away our leftovers. The ribs were covered in a gooey substance, quite unappealing to eat with your fingers. The Singapore fried rice was full of, what I can only imagine as, tough leftover meats, inedible. Pity we had been looking forward to a good Chinese meal.
Food is very good ,I'm comparing this with china town London and Good Earth Esher Surrey so high comparisons, adequate service , not expensive, well worth a visitFood: 5/5
had a wonderful evening for my birthday with my daughters the staff were incredible and attentive and friendly the food was excellent they even put up happy birthday decoration and a banana boot with candles would recommend brian
