Heard this is the best in town so went for a try. Place to go for well cooked authentic Chinese meal. Do try out the menu instead of the ‘all you can eat’ set. We spent less than £20 per head for beef fillet, deep fried squids, cauliflower hot pot which was less hot/spicy than the usual so good for most, and ‘ Guo Bao’ batter-fried pork fillet with sweet lemony sauce. All good portion enough to fill 4 adults. Seating was quite crowded and a bit understaffed but food came fast enough. Will come here whenever I am in town.
Another return visit. Five of us,food was good, and the restaurant was busy. Service was a bit slower than previous visits.n‐-------------nNice food and good service. Returned for a meal in the restaurant.nnThe all you can eat menu has plenty of choices and is good value at £22 per person. Just keep ordering until you have had enough and a good way to try different dishes. Drinks are extra.nnI thought the smoked shredded chicken and crispy duck were very nice.nn2 sides to the menu and a couple of photos.nnThe main menu looked good also.
More by accident, I found this small Asian restaurant. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food was traditional Chinese food, but they also serve European style of you want to. You find a lot of different dishes in the menu, vegetarian but also duck, chicken, pork and beef. The beef was super soft, I liked it a lot, very delicious.
I visited the place by complete accident while walking in the area. The food was very average, as if it was cooked in a hurry, while there were no other customers in the restaurant apart from us at that moment. Few vegetables, mainly broccoli, mini corn, bamboo and some carrots. No onions or peppers. Chicken meat pale, bland and underseasoned. The waitress seemed to be scared, as if she was afraid of something speaking English?. The bathroom hasn't been cleaned for a long time, a lot of old dirt and dust. Nice decor and that's all positives. Paid £13,90 for Chicken Chow Mein + Coke. I will not visit again.
This place is a bit of a coin flip. The food is delicious but the menu can be deceiving. The staff seem a little inexperienced and could not tell me whether a food had any allergens. Warning: don’t buy the drinks as they are overpriced and taste watered-down. I have visited this place many times and I think this place is very nice, but you have to put aside its unreliability sometimes.
