Just tried this restaurant for the first time. What can I say it was absolutely amazing, really fresh ingredients you could taste each individual ingredient. Was greeted very warmly by a smiling lady named Susan. The smells filling the shop were amazing and was reflected in the taste whilst eating. Portion size is very large check my last pic, that was left after stuffing myself. I had sweet and sour chicken balls, crispy shredded beef and chicken chow mein, half a container of beef left to! Chicken balls were massive as you can see from pictures and I can assure you filled with chicken see picture attached, about 10 balls in total, sauce was lovely too. Recommend highly, I think you can see it was enjoyable by my empty plate. I will definitely be back. Oh and stated no delivery on the menu that was posted through my door,but as you can see in first pic deliveroo cover Dorking now .give it a go guys...enjoy.
We thought it was really flavoursome. Very big portions which makes their prices very reasonable. The duck pancakes had decent meat, and the beef in szechuan sauce I think! went down really well. On collection, it was a very well presented workspace with the highest standards of hygiene
Friendly staff, good size portions, but nothing special. There are a few different items on the menu, but nothing outstanding. The food is just your standard Chinese fare, but it's still worth a visit as value for money is good.Food: 3/5
My favourite Chinese takeaway! Very friendly staff the nicest family runs it and the food is absolutely delicious! I go a couple of times a week to buy their crispy seaweed too. I highly recommend !!
I recently moved into the area and I have to say what a lovely Chinese take away The Golden Palace is, Susan is very friendly and likes a laugh, the food is great every time. I really like the vegi spring rolls and the black bean beef is top notch! Vegetarian options: lots of vegi options Parking: lots of parking

Literally the worst Chinese I have ever had, shredded crispy beef in some sort of water, soggy salt and pepper prawns, pork rice with brown meat looked disgusting and dry and ribs with barely any meat on. Not one good thing to say
Delicious food, generous portion , friendly and effective service , five stars hygiene rate, definitely recommend
Seaweed was too salty to eat and the sauces were very salty. Mediocre take away I have just received a call from the restaurant asking me to take my review down as they had offered me a refund. Totally unacceptable
I live in London and only travel to dorking occasionally, definitely best Chinese I’ve had from a take away. Food is delicious and service is outstanding
