We ordered the salt and pepper munchy box yesterday and it was lovely and it was nice and hot. The beef curry with fried rice was 10/10 i highly recommend. The chicken chow mien had a explosion of flavour! I will definitely be coming back
This was the best Chinese in Crewe but now under new management. Just had a meal that has to be the worst we've ever had. Frozen chips, tough chicken, horrible sweet curry sauce. We loved the curry previous owners did. I realise things have increased in price but a £7 increase on our normal order is ridiculous. Sorry to say won't be going back.
First time since new owners and refurbishment, not impressed! Over priced, no free delivery and they sent the wrong soup. The order did arrive very quickly and the food was piping hot. Unlikely to use them again, back to Goodies I think.
New owners so I i can't honestly make an opinion just yet. Yes the food was good Some advice the last owners were friendly & gave good quality & quantity of food at a reasonable price . Yes I do understand the current financial situation that you are in & need to make a profit to survive & give to the community. But please don't skip on quality or quantity.
The hot box was amazing and it had the best flavourful taste and the chicken fried rice was top tier! The salt peppers was delicious. Best Chinese is have ever had.
Used to be brilliant but meal tonight was terrible. Lemon Chicken dry and vegetable chow mien, hardly any vegetables and absolutely loaded on soya sauce. Will not be using again.
Me and my partner often like completely different things when it comes to a chinese, often making it hard to find one where we both love the food. We decided to try golden gate, as to no avail we couldn’t agree on any other Chinese restaurants in crewe. Wow i am so glad we tried here! The food is amazing, arrives fresh and hot every time, prices are great, portions are great! So happy we decided to try here. Definitely our go to chinese now!
Duck in sechzuan sauce was amazing. Very impressed with all the dishes ordered, the best Chinese takeaway I have had to date and highly recommend
Iv been coming here for 20 years. New management and a 40% increase in the cost of the meal I have. Never mind the chips are now horrible and curry sauce which used to be the best in Crewe is now tasteless and triple the price. Time to find a new chinese.
