I’ve been here a few times now and it’s continuously some of the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. There are little floors like the £8 and over card machine, and the the opening hours are quite as long as you’d like so that knocks it down slightly. However, the food is actually very good and I can’t wait to go back again.
Absolutely terrible. The worse takeaway experience ive had in years. Chips were soggy and pale and the oil and the Fat dripping from the mixed meat was disgusting. I wasnt offered a bag to put the food in so needed to ask for 1 too. The chicken meat was also extremely salty. Will not be visiting this establishment again.
Measly piece of fish, greasy wet slimy chips and customer service of a wall, we have just moved here but came from probably one of the best chippies in the Midlands, George & Helen’s so probably not fair to compare. The 1 star was lowest I could go but if I could go lower would be the friendliness of the staff…

Minimum card spend of £7 is a joke and against visa and MasterCard rules.. battered sausage cost £2.10 and was a small sausage which is daylight robbery .. I can see why on a Saturday evening it was empty .say it all really
I telephoned the proprietor to thank him for the AMAZING cod & chips my husband brought home tonight. The cod was totally fresh & not frozen, the batter was light & the potatoes fried in fresh oil! SO MUCH LOVE for the product & respect for the customer that I HAD to ring him. I felt transported to the Med, which is usually the only place I eat fish & chips! Thank you!
Stopped off on our way south - absolutely great fish and chips. Freshly cooked, tasty and service with a smile. To be recommended.
