Lovely fresh hot food and always ready on time when I do a pick up order. The special noodle box is lovely and has a lot of meat and vegetables in. Egg fried rice and crispy chilli beef/chicken is also very good.Food: 4/5
TERRIBLE. Would give zero stars if i could. Ordered salt and pepper shredded chicken it was a box of onion and peppers. Salt and pepper chips are normal chippy chips with onion, pepper and chilli chopped into them. No seasoning and very soggy. Disgusting. What a disappointment.
I have used this chip shop for many years but stopped for a while due to finding out it had one star on the scores on the doors, it basically put me off thinking they aren't following guidelines. Prior to that the food was ok, plenty and tasty however the chips on occasion were fry ups and horrible, oily and crispy and not nice at all. If they were freshly cooked they were fine, actually nice. On finding out the scores on the doors increased to four I started using them again but the quality has diminished, again using fry ups every time so won't be using them anymore. Stop using fry ups, they are horrible.
Ordered a salt and pepper share box. Half of the items listed on the menu where missing and the food that was there was over cooked and hard. Normally really enjoy the food from here but tonight was really disappointing.
The woman who works here is extremely rude and impatient, my niece with learning disabilities had been and bought food which is a big task for her as she struggles being independent and they had gave her the wrong change, after going back there accompanied by her Dad as she was too embarrassed to go back in there on her own, they was very threatening and abusive to her Dad and her, the women actually said to her “well you should of looked at your change then” and the man was calling her a “liar” to the point where she ran outside crying and this has completely wrecked her confidence and scared her due to the man screaming at her Dad using a lot of swear words and bringing up his appearance for simply asking for the correct amount of change, for context she was given £10 and was handed back £2 after ordering £3 worth of food, as many people would know straight away that this is the wrong change, my niece struggles with many disabilities so it is not as easy for her to understand and this situation others may get over easily but my niece has been deeply affected by the rude, aggressive and abusive staff here and i would not recommend this place to anybody, The staff here need to get some compassion and awareness of mental disabilities as this is immensely disrespectful and not acceptable.
The best chip shop in town generous portions of chips and crispy light batter on fish very enjoyable wouldn't go anywhere else lovely freindly people one even although busy came outside and gave us a jump start when our cars battery went dead and saved the day thank you very much
New Year's Eve, 6 of us all ordered different meals and some extra side dishes. Every meal was cooked to perfection, they even gave us some fortune cookies which added a bit of fun to the evening. But we have to say we've all still been raving about how gorgeous all the food was. Very impressed. Thank you Golden Flower. Have never had s disappointing meal from here in the 7 years we've come here.

Easily the worst chippy I've ever used. Everytime I've ordered from here, the delivery has took forever and something has been missing from the order, I'm talking about complete meals missing, sometimes more than one meal. It's notorious for "forgetting" to deliver your drinks. Today was the last straw, every item arrived cold, I phoned the chippy and received argumentative abuse. I was told that the delivery went out the second it left the kitchen and that if I want a refund the food has to be in its original packaging. If it's been opened they can't refund it. How would I know if its cold before being dished up and tried? Or do they expect us to eat from the plastic trays like some sort of peasants? This also makes me question "why" it has to be in its original packaging? Are they just going to sell it on? Anyone for 2nd hand food??? The siu mai was uncooked and like no siu Mai I've ever seen or tasted. Absolutely disgusting.
Placed an order online at 6.05pm. After 2 hours still no sign of delivery. 120 attempts to call them and it either rang out or was engaged. Finally got through at 8.15pm and was told it was busy. When i asked for a timescale i was told 'i dont know.........its all packed up and waiting for driver to get back'. Another hour past.....and another 140 attempts to get through but nothing. Finally at 9.40pm the order arrives. Told the driver I'd been waiting over 3 hours and he told me how sick he was of getting told that. Shocking customer service
