Was reluctant to try because of the mixed reviews.. But, when I saw Halal on the Menu I was very eager to try. So I went and ordered a Large Cod and Large chips. Cost me £13.70. Nice big piece of fish and generous amount of chips. I thoroughly enjoyed it.. Everything was cooked fresh, Couple of nice brothers working behind the till. I would definitely recommend this place.

Been eating from this shop since childhood late 90’s and it’s always been really good. Great service; always great food!
I have just bought 2 portions fish and chips for 16,20£. I am disgusted with the food quality particularly the chips. I am trained chef and can tell when food is old and just constantly put back in fryer to warm up & to sell to the general public. It’s disgusting to see that this business is putting profits before quality. I complained and the response “oh it’s maybe the oil is dirty which is why the chips are chewy and virtually inedible”. I explained I am trained chef if the oils is dirtyburnt bread crumbs then that would sticked to the food you fry. Which wasn’t the case from my experience what caused the chips to turn into dog food is that it’s been constantly reheated by putting it back in the fryer making it taste like dog food and chewy. Although the owner asked me to come back and pick up new portion of chips probably because he realised he got caught out I declined and will not be returning to shop who literally sells food particularly the chips which is dog food and should not be consumed by a human. ANYONE ELSE HAD BAD EXPERIENCE HERE ? MY ADVISE DONT GO BACK!
Took me all of 2 seconds to see the tell tale signs of reheated chips. Kebab meat seemed dry and tough too. Decided against eating it. What's worse was ordered as they opened at lunch time, so were those chips left overs from the night before?! Won't be ordering from here again.
I used to work for these people they are so disgusting it’s unbelievable they’ve got no sense of hygiene and the reel you in with a cheap prices. I feel sorry for whoever eat this food disgusting
I’m actually getting in contact with health and safety after receiving my food it was not what I ordered there was hardly any salad and the meat was so hard it could have been sitting about all day it was definitely not freshly cut this could make me unwell what a waste of £16 I want a refund and an apology as I have used this shop many times
What a wonderful experice it was the cod was perfectly tender and crispy and also the delivery was on time this made my day. Thankyou pond fish and kebab
Very nice tasty Vegetarian options: They have plenty vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: They are very friendly especially to the kids always offer them lollipop
