Fair price for food, with quite a number of choices on Cantonese dishes with authentic taste. Across the 8 dishes we ordered, the Cantonese style Golden Chicken was particularly nice. Unfortunately, one of the waiters was really aggressive on asking for tips / red pocket for many times by keep saying “new year greeting” word. It’s sort of annoying for customers especially when they are chatting. Really appreciate if the restaurant could look into the behaviour of this individual staff.
Great food and service for us. Small hiccup when initial waiter thought all food not suitable for a gluten intolerance guest. When we engage with another waitress this was clarified and with a pleasant surprise a lot was suitable. This waitress was excellent in her handling and explanations. Sometimes you need to double check Very happy to return and recommend.
Will definitely recommend this if you are into Chinese food. Food tastes good and prices are not going to break the bank. You definitely have to try the duck which tastes great. Only complaint is their addition of a 10% service charge. I would rather tip the waiter and decide how much I want to tip than pay a service charge which the owner of the business will definitely hold on to and not pass on to the staff. If you are so inclined you can argue for the removal of the service charge but I don't have the energy to get into that battle.
Chinese food for Chinese people. Large restaurant and flexible kitchen staff. Limited choices of food for gluten free, if any. Suggestions to eat upstairs in bang bang city is not a good idea, so it would be good if the restaurant were able to cater for special diets. The price has gone up incredibly, for example plain tofu and veg no sauce =£10... Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian foods, other than vegetables dishes. Parking: Lots of free parking max 3h from the supermarket morrisons car park. Dietary restrictions: They say they cannot cater for gluten free
I tried the golden dragon restaurant in Colindale with some friends, as a change from going to bang bang which is upstairs. I think it is a great place if you want a good local north London Chinese and don't want to trek into central London. The atmosphere is relaxed but classy and the service was good and attentive. I tried the seafood dimsum, which came piping hot while my friends shared the Peking duck which looked ace. In fact they said it was the best Peking duck they had in ages. Would definitely go back again. Parking: We parked in the Morrisons car park next door which is free and adjacent to the restaraunt
Food was amazing! Loved the lobsters with ginger and spring onion and the roast duck! Service was ok apart from the waiter not remembering to include the noodles we requested for with the lobsters. Very nice venue with Bang Bang Oriental food hall about and has a massive car park which is free to park. Recommended
Lovely dinner, very polite staff, the food was excellent and served to the table very quick. I'm glad we chose to celebrate our wedding anniversary at this restaurant. Looking forward to go back.Food: 5/5
Food service was speedy during lunch hours; after ordering they arrived promptly. The dim sum was tasty and I would recommend to others at least once to see yourself. Atmosphere was great and overall set up is good. Interestingly they have two sets of chopsticks I assume one for grabbing the shared items and another to consume the items. Price is fair being in London, though is on the high end. However there is free parking <2 hours in the shared car park for Morrisons.
Super busy restaurant but they deserve to be. Food came fast. Piping hot. Large portions and very tasty. Place most prob needs a bit of a clean but that wouldnt put me off from going again!Food: 5/5
Fantastic place!!! We almost didn't go because of negative reviews but thankfully we did! We went 3 times and every time the staff were friendly and remembered us bringing cutlery for my friend after we asked once and they didn't mind that my daughter didn't eat or theat 2 times my friend and I shared a starter main and rice. Food is excellent, the menu for 2 is enough for 3 or 4 people. Sweet and sour prawns Crispy light and not cloying sweet, pepper beef like butter and rice perfect for chopsticks. We enjoyed swiss movenpick ice cream for dessert. Can't recommend enough
