Great food friendly staff Ordered over the telephone & the food was ready 15 minutes later the ribs are fantastic plenty of meat on them the 2 duck dishes we had was well worth the money.
We have ordered from here twice during our stay in Aberporth. Both times the food has been absolutely delicious. Last night, we stopped in at 9.50pm and they generously still served us. Not only is the food scrummy and great value but the staff are absolutely lovely. Would definitely recommend the Crispy Beef which is great and the chips are top notch
Beautiful food, its our local and we love it. Such a shame that its closing but we wish them health and happiness in the future.
This must be the worst Chinese food I have ever had, it took me two days to get over a few mouthfuls of garbage. I ordered special fried rice and two cartons of curry, the fried rice had a few tiny prawns in it and a few wrinkly little peas topped off with gravy and two slices of meat, served with watery curry sauce, if I hadn't of been so ill I would have thrown it at them and it cost £11-70 So be warned.
I just had lovely takeaway from New Golden Dragon, I ordered and I gave a specific time for collection and it was ready on time, good portions and reasonable prices. I’ll be definitely be coming back for more. Many thanks. Paul Davies

Awful! They refused to serve my family and were very rude! We went in during our holiday and they wouldn't serve us. We were told by their very rude staff that we had to phone our order through first, which we did from outside the glass fronted shop, but they then wouldn't answer the phone. They should have a sign on the door saying 'No English'! Appalling and a huge stain on beautiful Aberporth. We had pizza two minutes walk away instead. There is a great chip chop in Cardigan who are really friendly and serve great food with a smile. Go there instead!
Really don’t see the problem with putting up a sign stating that any Chinese food orders have to be placed over the phone rather than in person? Only to then be told that there’s a two hour wait by a very abrupt and rude staff member! Went to Morgan Guest House instead, had a lovely meal and served by welcoming staff!
Enjoyed the food on the whole - ate it on the beach with friends! Lovely noodles - the spicy ones really are spicy! Fried rice ok, perhaps needs a bit more flavour but might be the effect of eating the spicy noodles! Crispy beef tasty also. The ordering and picking up is a bit more chaotic with covid and we were waiting for our food when it was ready due to wrong name being called out - a ticket number system like at the butcher's would be better.
This is a stunning little chippy, ultra clean with its own little car park. We specifically came back a year later for fish and chips! Nicely cooked chips from quality potatoes and a wonderful fish. The place is clean and the girls are the most well spoken and polite staff any business could want. Highly recommended by all the family! We will see you soon.
