The owner founded this shop in 1995 and has kept true to their traditional Cantonese roots. Despite their rundown storefront appearance, I highly recommend this is your place to go to in Aberdeen! Genuine Hong Kong Chinese owner! Very generous portion sizes to suit the north of the United Kingdom’s tastes. On par with Canton King’s sizes in Sheffield, England. The taste is a tad better than generic compared to the standard in London Chinese takeaways however, the portion size is why would you buy from here. Definitely come here if you want a decent Chinese and to be absolutely full for value for your money!
Fit likey min just wanted to let yous ken at chinese I’ve just bought was bloody pish, I asked boss man for a honey chilli chicken with chips and a bbq sauce. I received a fried bat with soggy tatties and a bbq sauce like cement. I have to say me and the whole of provvy will nae be back. I’d like to shoutout the main place BYRON CHINESE for always being top notch and always to the standard. Only reason I came to your China shop was bc nit was open and I have to say I was wrong for doing so. I will be sure to next time get a tesco meal deal for £3.50 on my Clubcard. Righto I better hit the sack cause I’m pure sleepy from the straight fumes aff the Chinese. I do have to say tho yous did an exceptional tango orange which I dusted as the food sent my mouth into a flip flop in the Sahara desert. It's a very reasonable food stop if you are looking for Asian food varieties. The chef understand what you need and cooks accordingly. I simply love the spicy chicken fried rice. Prices are competitive and reasonable too. Give it a try and you will not regret. Great job team. Cheers
Really disappointed with my latest visit..used to order from here on a regular basis 20yrs ago & was always happy & customer service was always A+, however, went for an impromptu visit recently & couldn't be more disappointed, the lady was IGNORANT to say the least & their "covid" - empty hand sanitizer and plastic bag divider was disgusting and we threw away our food!!! PLEASE DON'T eat whatever they serve, I cannot express enough how far DOWNHILL this place has plunged ‍
Overall wonderful experience. The people are extremely friendly and take all necessary COVID precautions. Food was warm and delicious, and we even received a free drink on the side. Will come again. :
Golden China is a superb takeaway, the food is very very tasty. The owner is extremely friendly and polite on the phone. Delivery was on time. Will definitely use Golden China from now on as other Chinese takeaway are just not up to the same standard as the Golden China.
Amazing food, nice quantity for the price, and the people running the place are super nice and friendly! Great place for a late dinner. They're open till midnight!
First time in ages I've been to Golden China. All Covid procedures in place. The food was hot, tasty and at a good price. I'll definitely be back!
Firstly the order took 1 and a half to arrive which was quite disappointing. The rice was okay, would not buy the runs again as basically no meat on them and virtually inedible. The salt and pepper chicken and spicy chilli chicken were born great quality chicken and the duck was satisfactory. The sauces however were not good and congealed. Also the chips were hard. The drive was nice enough to offer a small discount but probably would not order again unless getting the chicken.
Excellent food with very reasonable prices. Don't be put off by the look of the front of the shop,the owners have spent the money on the kitchen rather than the decore. My favourite Chinese takeaway in Aberdeen.
