I'm only leaving 1 star because there is no option to leave 0. Food ordered at 5.30pm, estimated delivery 6.30pm. Food arrived at 7.30pm - cold and with items missing. When we phoned to ask ETA at 7pm we were told that if we didn't like the service to leave 'bad message online - I do not care'. This takeaway are relying on tourist trade - people who will order here once while on holiday and then move on ready for next bunch of tourists. Don't waste your money.
Ordered food tonight at 19.15 and it took almost 3 hours to arrive! We were told it would arrived at 20.07 and it arrived at 22.02! We called at 21.03 to ask where it was and were told it was on its way but still took another hour! No apology or reduction, terrible service. We had to cancel our plans to go out after eating as it was so late. Don't order a delivery unless you have loads of time
Tried here whilst on holiday in looe two weeks ago, Lovely meal no problems whatsoever. We were going to have it delivered to our caravan park but decided to pick it up instead. They said ready in 20 minutes and was ready when we got there.
Waited 2 hours and 50 minutes for the food to be delivered to an address less than 4 miles away. Definitely not worth the wait! Once it arrived the food was cold and very bland. £10 for delivery too! Avoid at all costs..
Best food in Polperro on a Sunday night after 9pm. Quick delivery too. OTOH: * Sauces are thickened with cornstarch. Cheap and effective but not actually good. * Satay sauce was dismal and had nothing to do with the stuff you'd get in Indonesia * Cutlery was promised but wasn't actually supplied * Coke was tepid * It's probably best not to think about glutamate flavoring when ordering
If I could rate 0 stars I would ! But that 1 single star can be for the outstanding way whoever was behind that phone dealt with the situation and for the cheery delivery driver who delivered what I can only loosely call our food . What a shame that the ‘food’ could not be as wonderful as their service! Where on earth to start, I came to stay locally to Looe and visit family and thought I’d treat us all to a takeaway . This is what we got and this is what we got! Egg fried rice - this was the only edible thing ! It was your standard egg friend rice BBQ spare ribs - the most gritty bits of rib I’ve even tried in what I can only describe as BBQ water Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style - I’m not actually sure what we got but it was nothing like I’ve seen before ! Bits of random large chucks of thin squares of chicken , kinda coated in some sort of soggy batter, in what I would describe as a sauce as thick and tasty as warmed up ketchup Beef in black bean - apart from having huge peculiar grape type things in : and no it wasn’t the black beans , all you could taste was charcoal . Maybeeee... that’s how the achieve the black in black bean here ? Chips - you’d think this would be simple? No one could screw this up surely ! You’d be wrong , these were basically thin oven chips that had been warmed up , cooked and warmed up! We ALL KNOW what a warmed up chip tastes like , we eat them when we warm up our left over chinease in the morning ! And this was a warmed up , floury , limp yucky oven chip Handmade large pancake roll - nothing about this was large , my little finger was larger than this pancake roll, and the inside had a weird sauce that tasted a bit like whallops of soy . We ordered a sausage kids meal too - sausages were okay ! Chips the same and the drink and ice cream it came with , non existent they didn’t even bring them. After an hour on a quarter of waiting we were starving but not enough to eat this ! I rang several times upon noticing missing things and in the end demanded a refund , in fairness the girl I dealt with was wonderful and sympathetic ! But I must warn ! Unless you want to eat sausages and rice ! BE WARNED !!!!!
Avoid like the plague. Just got a delivery, of sorts a cold saturday in Feb and it took almost an hour and a half to get to us. You only delivered one of the two rice and the satay chicken smelled terrible and tasted worse, the rost chicken has kept my son up all night, even our dogs wouldn't eat it. Do you have fridges? Are they being used? Maybe a visit from the local health inspecter is in order. You guys really need to get a grip, this is the middle of Feb, what are you going to do when it really gets busy? We have supported you throughout the winter months but you still get here late. Look after those who look after you. Disgraceful waste of time and food.
Wish I'd read these reviews before ordering ! Had to wait 2 . 5 hours , was told after first order time had expired that the roads were shut because of the carnival , fair enough , why take the order in the first place ? Then promised order will be there 50 mins later , add on another 45 mins then the deliverers driver rocks up with a massive chip on his shoulder , proper rude . Average food , rude customer service , would never use them again or recommend .
Ordered a Chinese last night at 7.30pm, estimated to be delivered at approx 8.20pm. at about 8.10pm thought it strange as they would usually ring to find exactly where to deliver. Rang 10 times and no reply. Payment was taken by paypal but no Chinese. Will not be using again. Very poor.
Waited 2+ hours, paid a £3 pound delivery for cold, tasteless meals worth £40+, when rung to ask about how long much longer we have to wait? Was told they were busy and we would have to wait. Don't come here they are not worth the money.
