Had a lovely curry last night, excellent food and delivered earlier than estimated time. Not that that's important sometimes a great meal is worth waiting for. Keep up the great work Golden Balti. Best Biryani in the manor.
I ordered for food for delivery at 17:19 pm from 7 to 8 pm, I have called 3 times about my delivery and I got answer it's on the way. After waiting for over 2.50 hrs and it was around 8:15 pm, the food was still not delivered. Eventually I called to cancel my order. I will not get my refund and it was an unnecessary stress and waste of time every dealing on the phone. This small incident has definitely put me off from ordering take away food.
Used this takeaway twice since the new owners have taken over. Very pleased, meals were absolutely lovely especially chicken tikka sagwala my meal. Would recommend 100% Thankyou Julie over the road
Nice to see the kitchen in operation and the care over hygiene been taken. Ordered over the phone and given 25 minute collection time, was waiting about another 20 mins on arrival. Some of the order was incorrect and food was only mediocre. Won't be using again. On a plus side, would be great value if better quality. Vegetarian options: Decent choice of vegetarian options with care taken to ensure cooking utensils washed between meat and vegetarian foods being prepared. Parking: Plenty of parking outside, off street.
Having waited for approximately an hour and 10 minutes I phoned to ask where our food was, I was told the driver was just leaving, there had been a hiccup on the way and it will be 15 Minutes. Another 20 minutes or so later I ring an I'm told it should be there any second. Another 20 or so minutes later I'm told there is an issue with the drivers sat nav and he had to look at the map. Finally 2 hours after order I get the food and ring back to complain and I'm told that the owners had ran off with kitchen equipment and they are struggling, I asked for a discount for the inconvenience and apparently they couldnt process it because of the above excuse. But don't worry next time you order I'll get one free main. First time using Golden Balti..... Not a great experience.
I’ve had two curries from Golden Balti and they are amazing. The staff are so friendly and take time to know their customers. Truly happy with this Indian, will be going again! Vegetarian options: Menu is very clear and staff are always ready to help Dietary restrictions: Menu is well organised and staff are always ready to help Parking: Parking is easy outside of shop
I ordered food for delivery , The food came cold the nann bread was burnt and rock hard hard and the chips looked and tasted like they have been sitting on the side for hours really do not recommend if this how the food is going to come . The portion of chips was disgusting and I had to wait and hour for this what a disappointment .. used to be the one of the best in the area no more won’t be going back
Always order our weekend treat from here and the guys are so friendly. We got chatting about food and their lovely front of house guy gave us a complimentary veggie balti to try. It was so tasty, the selection of veg coupled with the fresh coriander made for an outstanding dish and we will definitely be adding it to the list of out favourite curries from Golden Balti. Thanks guys, a perfect Saturday night treat yet again xx
Having been a regular customer of Golden Balti for some time both me and the wife have started to notice that the standard of the food has started to fall. For example the once flavoursome tikka massala has become somewhat tasteless on the last 2 occasions, no longer dose sitll have that rich red colour to it, instead it's gone more brown with a sprinkle of cream and almonds on top and is lacking the flavour it once had. Poppadoms last night felt like they had been cooked days in advance and was clearly stale. This has been our second consecutive disappointing take away from here and will most likely be our last.
