The niciest chippy I've had in a long time. Just couple of pokes of chips for my daughter and me, demolished in no time. Fresh and tasted
Credit where its due.. My order wasn't upto standard when I received it so phoned to complained about it I don't normally phone and complain The owner delivered the replacement personaly, it was Fresh/Hot and with complementary Fritters will be ordering again.
Im not in Kilmarnock often but we popped in for the first time in years to find it's under new management and newly redecorated! Food was delicious fish and chips. Mushy peas were perfectly mushy yum and the batter was fantastic! Waited on by a lovely lady very chatty and helpful. Only thing is the hamburger itself was a tad greasy but that's the type of hamburger it was. Other chippys use this supplier and to me it's just a personal preference. My son loves the greasy one, I prefer the other type that's darker and denser.Lots of different offerings on the menu including italian cuisine pizza and pasta. The fryer is italian and certainly knows his trade. All in all I would highly recommend a wee visit. You won't be disappointed
