Best fish and chips, can't beat it! Hard to eat anywhere else without comparing. Crispy edged, fat, golden chips... Fresh battered fish and homemade sauces. Always great in or out! Regular customer and a very happy one.
Had to wait a while re covid but it's well worth the wait
I'm new to Harpenden and heard Godfrey's had the best fish and chips. A 20 minute wait in the cold and wet was worth it. Definately the best fish n chips I have had in the UK. The medium portion a bit big for a single but I gave it a good go. You can't price quality and the queue suggests that.
Great Fish & Chips shop, the food is amazing!! We order for collection. Waiting time was 20 minutes and the food was ready in 20-23 minutes time. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Quick service and didn't wait long at all for food. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Absolute best chips around, I can't stand to go anywhere else at this point! Always get the chips and if I'm getting a full meal I go for the battered halloumi and minted crushed peas it's to die for! Service is always super friendly and fast, love it
Best fish and chips ever! It's often ranked as the best in the South East at least!
