A nice small practise, I have been registered with them for 6 years but I don't know if they've been taking on too many clients or not enough staff - does seem to be different people every time I go in, but it's currently a months wait to get an appointment online which is just too long for any issue. otherwise you can call for an emergency appointment but if everyone is having to call for their appointments that's not a great system and it's often hard to get through on the phones. Is anything being done to resolve this?
A massive thank you to the Mile End team. Our dog needed surgery at short notice and everyone in the team was so friendly, helpful and professional. Our dog gets nervous going to the Vet but the Mile End team were so good with him. Thank you so much for giving excellent care.
Our dog, a middle aged staffy, had a wart that was starting to get injured and bleed. The Mile End Goddard Vet staff were just amazing. They booked him in immediately to have it removed. He's an anxious dog and Joe the head vet nurse and all the staff were so patient and kind with him. They made sure that everything was made clear to us. Everything was really well organised and smooth. The surgery went well and our dog is back to his happy self. The vet staff were absolutely amazing. We've been with Mike End Goddard's for years. Definitely the best vet practice in the area.
We had a brilliant first experience at Goddard Vet Mile End with our poorly cat. Called at 9:30 and was given an appointment at 12:30 that day. The reception staff on the phone and on site were lovely, efficient and understanding. The locum vet we saw was so helpful, made our cat feel safe and provided clear guidance for treatment and administering medication at home. We couldn't have felt better looked after and reassured throughout an emotional process. Thank you.
It took 30+ minutes to pick up pills for my cat that I already paid for last visit. Unacceptable customer service. They called me asking to pick up the medication yesterday and I went today. The cat was first registered under my partner's name. However, as I had brought the cat in before, they said they would add my name and phone number to the cat's file, but they only added my number while the cat was still only registered under my partner's name and the chaos began. The front of house asked for my last name and pet's name. Then he was dealing with other customers - fine. My partner said it usually just takes 5 minutes with different front of houses so after 15 minutes, I asked about my request and it was only then he started working on it, which was already a bit frustrating. They then kept coming back and forth with different questions - asking for my first name, asking to see the text I received, asking the precise medication name, even asking if I was looking for a written prescription when I clearly stated I needed medication/pills... After all this inefficient back and forth, finally another staff came out asking me if the pet might be under another person's name that I finally got my pills. This whole saga took 30+ minutes. The problem I had with this interaction wasn't the fact that there was a misunderstanding if only they also added my name to the cat's file... - it was the fact that the front of house handled this is the most inefficient way possible language barrier might have been a factor too. Other customers were also negatively affected by this - people were stuck there waiting to pay and bring their pets in. I don't really know what the solution is - better training with regards to communciation and problem solving? I was thinking of taking this through a formal complaints process but didn't want to go through the trouble.
We brought our puppy for his first vet experience to Goddard Mile End, and it was a fantastic experience for us and the puppy. The team were super knowledgeable and helpful, and treating our pup with care and a lot of love. Really happy to have signed up to this vet team.
A very friendly and helpful vet practice. They managed to fit me in on the morning when I rang up for an emergency appointment, which was really appreciated. I felt very reassured and they were thorough with their examination of my kitten, and they gave great advice. I would definitely recommend them to fellow pet owners.
There aren’t enough words to say how great the whole team were when treating our extremely anxious rescue dog. Due to his anxiety, what was meant to be a standard blood test, was turned into multiple visits, as each attempt proved too traumatic for him. But the staff were extremely understanding and supportive, and on the final big day, they went above and beyond to make Beau feel calm and safe. Huge thanks to all for being so kind and understanding.
I cannot thank the lovely, friendly, caring, professional team enough for seeing my pug cross for an emergency possible toxin ingestion within minutes despite a very busy clinic. It's a huge relief to have her home and well after loving expert care.
Our beloved dog needed emergency treatment after swallowing some toxic substance. Our local vet nearest to us turned us away because they were busy but thanks to the caring team at Goddard they saw us immediately and saved her life that day. We are eternally grateful and will be using Goddard from now on!
