Bought a lot of gear from here recently. Lots of choice for all aspects of your adventure requirements. Love that there is so much to choose from under one roof. Good gear at a fair price and staff are really helpful. Only thing that stops this from being a 5 star review is you have to check your receipts to make sure offers went through the till! Spent just over £400 on my last visit and it would of been £450 if I wasn't vigilant and do the maths before check-out. Staff were more than happy to correct it though. Also not a fan of member cards, they are made out as being discount cards and saving you 100s of pounds but realistically you are just getting them at a fair price and not the massively inflated RRP prices, £150 for some boots or £80 with the members card but everyone else is selling them for £80-£90. Basically you're giving your personal information to go-outdoors and paying £5 for the luxury of it.
The staff are the best I've ever come across the gentleman who served me did it in a very professional pleasant manner his product knowledge was spot on the mark the store has everything you need prices where very good. So too the staff at Saltney store Chester thank you very much and I will be a repeat customer. Lord Hammon
Order a coat online on a Saturday arrived on a Tuesday evening,even though they said 3-5 working days,great service by their depot as for the store never had a problem when buying from them
Went for a pair of wide fit walking shoes.Staff were incredibly helpful. Got exactly what I needed and they didn't break the bank. Thank you Rachel.

Didn't seem to carry a great deal of stock went in to purchase a coat that I seen online only to be told they had none. Not a great choice for men's winter wear either save time and go elsewhere.
Shopped today for Chef camping stove. Wanted the kit in preparation for Wales winter power cuts. I'm not a camper so needed help. Manager and assistant were brilliant. Five star service
Decent sized store, plenty of different products to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful. Always good to go and check sizing, so if you like something double check the price online from other retailers as they beat the price. Definitely recommend a visit for all your outdoor bits and pieces.
