Wouldn't have even given them 1 star! As mentioned in other reviews, staff are rude, uninterested and obnoxious. First play gym I've been to that charges adults too!!?? It was peak time when we visited and there was only 1 other kid in.. that should've really spoken for itself. They wouldn't allow my 21month old on the bigger play area despite the fact it was dead and I said I'd go in with him, telling us children under 3 couldn't go in yet a 2year old the only other child there! Had been allowed? Utter rubbish. After a whole 3mins in there we left and got our money back... Please don't even waste your time here.
Thought we would give this place another try hoping the staff has changed hands and someone new runs it went with my 2 friends and there kids . The staff are still very rude been twice before and both times had a bad experience these women should not be allowed to work with kids , it's like been in a prison for them . There not aloud to be KIDS or GO HYPER . From the moment you walk in the kids get a firm warning . Between us 3 we spent around £50 on entrance and food/drink and the wicked witch came over to our table and told us to put our kids juice sports bottles away as no food or drink not purchased there aloud , this was after we all spent money on lunches . And of one of the juice bottles was for a baby with sterile water in it. I understand if not one of us had bought a drink or food . But we bought 3 adult meals 5 kids meals . Cups of tea / drinks . It's not like we pulled a full picnic out of our bags . We had juice in a kids sports bottle . While we was waiting for kids meal with drinks to come . . We was told we only had 2 hours play. The place was virtually empty . And the kids in there was getting told off constant. Don't think these woman are in the right job . Avoid this place and go somewhere else to spend your money . I go to 2 playgyms a week with my 4 year old and this one else gets my back up after spending money .
Really disappointing! Been to this play gym twice the first time our son was under 2 and was only able to use the small play area. We then returned a year later when he was over to to be told He now had to be over 3 to play in the bigger play area!! This is a joke we drove over 30 minutes to get there and both times had to leave with my son in tears because we couldn't use the play area.. The staff are rude and make up the rules as they go along no wonder the place was half empty!!
Do I really have to give this place even 1 star?! Based on my experience dealing purely with the customer service and not the facilities or equipment as we were essentially invited to go elsewhere. Having spent half an hour sat in traffic to visit this play gym for the first time with excited 4 and 2 year olds, we were met with a very rude lady upon entering who wouldn't know what customer service is if it smacked her in the face, we were told that if we want to use the facilities my 2 year old would be restricted to the small baby section with my 4 year old niece being allowed in the other section. Now, if rules are rules, I accept this but the way she spiel about the 2 kids not being allowed to play with each over with an awful tone and poor customer service left a sour taste in my mouth. The worst aspect of this poor experience was the fact that she ever states they will probably be better going 'elsewhere'....by making reference to health and safety checks and it not being worth her losing trading, I presume I was dealing with the owner/manager which makes it all so more disappointing. Having left shocked by the rudeness and willingness to lose custom and business we had to leave wth a crying 2 year old in toe! Worst customer experience in 30 years I've come across! Rules I can handle although being to well over 10 different play gyms this is the first strictness highlighted to me the fact that the manager pretty much told us we would be better elsewhere was the worst business sense I have ever come across. Very Poor show middle age lady with blonde hair.
This is a great place for young children on a rainy day, so they can run around , meet other children and have fun climbing and playing safely in ball pools, while the adults chat over a cup of coffee and a snack. The marina with canal boats is nearby too, so if the sun comes out you can always add in a walk along the canal afterwards. Its good value entertainment all round.
Food is lovely. Place is nice and clean. Yeah the staff do tannoy a lot but with good reason. The rules are there for the safety of our kids. We will be going again :-
Hated it, i would have rated 0 but could only select 1 star as default. the staff are rude, arrogant, their service is very rushed and in a rude manner. Prices are extreme rip off. You are better of trying elsewhere as you will have an awful experience and be out of pocket. This was the 3rd time i took my children to and each time the staff are stuck up and this place is not worth the time or money. Also the vip area is not worth 140 they serve u food easily whipped by sainsburys takeout ie nuggets and chips
the grandkids had a great time. Not very bright cant always see your children. There is an upstairs restaurant which is busier than the play centre. kids can come and go literally noone is gaurding the main door, as this fun place is on a farm you may want to keep ya eye on the kids. parking is accessable easy enough but dont wear heals.
ridiculous place. take your kids to krazy kingdom which is a five minute walk away and thank me later. I turned up today with my 5 year old and 1 year old cousins. we were told that they would have to play seperately in different areas which is no problem as i had my twin sister to take one of them each.HOWEVER, when asked our ages, we honestly said we are 16 and we were told that we were are not allowed to go in or supervise yet adults can? so adults are expected to take kids around the tiny play structure and me and my sister couldn't because we aren't classed as an adult. if we were to be 17 we would be allowed however but anyone between 12 and 17 cannot. never heard anything more stupid. my mum then went on to say we will not sue you if we were to get hurt we just need to supervise them to get told no not at all by very rude staff. adults are allowed to 'join the fun' yet girls who are months away from 16 who simply just need to watch their younger cousins can't at any cost. It's bad enough that younger siblings cannot play together but if i was a 16 year old mum, i wouldnt be able to take my own child in there you may thing im overexaggerating but that is the message we are getting A quick tip for parents, go to the neighbouring playgym of Krazy Kingdom, better value for money, a lot bigger and a better day out.
the staff need some.proper training with dealing.with kids and the food ? lets not go there... its not good value for what we are getting. there is.room.for.improvement in.almost every aspect in the attraction.
