It's a great venue and outside space. It's great for one off events. However if you want to book regularly I wouldn't recommend this hall. The communication for our long term regular booking was very poor and quite stressful at times. Last contact we had was that they wanted to bin £100s pounds worth of our resources because we hadn't replied to an email that they never sent about a date to move it! We have now stopped using the venue and found a great hall close by who are much more professional dealing with their clients cheaper too.
Great venue and facilities, poor administration. Don't bother if you want to use the hall for regular use. For our small group, it was great to start off with and then communication was poor and their attitude towards us was shocking. Had done nothing wrong, we have since gone somewhere else where the communication is amazing!
I'd give zero stars if it was possible. The admin were pretty ineffective and seemed to be discriminatory towards our group. Given that the venue is run by the Scouts, they were quite unkind towards our children. Very abrupt communications and cancelled our regular booking with ease. If it wasn't for the size of the venue, we wouldn't have continued to use the venue for as long as we did.
Easy to hire with fast reply’s from their admin. Met on site at time of hiring and shown around. Will use it again. Ideal for kids party inside and outside space
Very well organised evening children and adults enjoy it
