Even in this time of lockdown the church is doing what they can for the community. Angels and a nativity from recycled materials in the church porch to lift the spirit.
Glossop Parish Church is a very peaceful place to worship. The services are serene and spiritual. The ritual connected to the reading of the gospel, the ritual of the incence, the sharing of the peace and the preparations for holy communion all add to the spiritual experience of our worship as does the singing of the church choir accompanied by organ and piano.
I went in here for a recent wedding. It was simply lovely.
