Amazing service I stayed for a night this week and the staff could not of been more helpful. From booking to checking in and booking the restaurant for dinner all faultless. Rooms great clean and the bed and pillows first class. We had dinner in the restaurant and for a Monday night hardly a space just as well we booked. Steak pie and fish and chips amazing. Pre order breakfast for the next morning great quality local produce sausages and bacon some of the best I have ever had in hotels. Will def be back and stay again. 5 star well ran hotel.
Went for dinner on a Thursday evening. Service was fantastic....same waiting staff throughout the meal. Staff knowledgeable about specials on menu. Food fantastic. Would highly recommend for couples and larger parties. My 6yr old was really fussed over and loved the kids menu.Service: 5/5
What can I say. This is a lovely wee hotel and value for money is second to none. Lovely friendly staff, excellent food and a great room. Only stayed for 1 night whilst visiting son in Aberdeen and was really very impressed. Absolutely recommend if u visiting the area and looking for a nice place to lay your head.
Absolutely brilliant hotel. Staff were always so helpful, polite and friendly, rooms are of good size and have all the usual things you’d need. Only thing i would say to the hotel is get some plug sockets installed bear to the bed when possible. Breakfast was really very good, and the same could be said about the restaurants evening meals, VERY generous portions, all tasted lovely and at a great price. Look forward to my next stay here. Rooms were clean and stocked with the usual tea/coffee, bathroom had soaps/shampoo and shower cap. Poor wifi, couldn't connect as showed as poor/weak signal. Wasnt till the day I was leaving that I finally connected, I did mention it but I was told to just keep trying in different locations until it worked. Seemed to be short staffed, possibly due to weather conditions, but there was rarely someone on reception which led to a delay checking in and I left my room key with a waitress/bar staff as there was noone available for checkout. This was also an issue as we were holding a funeral in the function room and there was noone to tell people where to go. Food in the restaurant was very tasty and the portions were large.
Used the Cornkist and not the hotel. Good service, polite staff and reasonable prices. Parking behind hotel or larger public parking just across the street beside the river.
What can I say? Absolutely outstanding. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Michael the chef even took our food order after the kitchen had just closed, and the food is delicious and cooked to perfection. There is not one thing I can fault here, everywhere is spotless and the attention to detail is amazing. This has honestly been the best hotel experience I've had in my adult life so far. Such a beautiful place to stay and my first visit to Scotland..awesome.
