Myself, my husband and 2 kids stayed here for one night as we had a table booked in Max & Bens Bistro. It was £112 B&B for one night, so not cheap! This establishment has a cheek asking this price! The place has an awful stench from the hall way to the bedrooms, the carpets are old and worn throughout. Very tired decor throughout. When we woke in the morning we could not shower due to their being no hot water (we let the water run for 10 minutes) When we were leaving a staff employee came to the room and turned the tap on in the sink, there was a huge explosion of water and then he turned the shower on also, a few minutes later there was warm water of sorts but shower pressure was awful! Staff were friendly enough, although no money back was offers upon us leaving which is a disgrace as you MUST have facilities to have a wash, especially when the premises are not the cleanest. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CHARGING NO MORE THAT £60 PER NIGHT!!!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The restaurant in this hotel offers really good value for money food and drink. Basically these are pub meals but well worth having.

Undercooked Chicken, undercooked Salmon. Nice staff. Reasonable price. Draft soft drinks have a weak ratio.
