An excellent piece of history on show here. Well set out and quite extraordinary in terms of its size. King Arthur was reportedly buried here!
A well preserved Abbey with remains of how the Abbey would have looked, you can see the said graves of King Arthur and Guinevere which is in the centre of the Abbey. The grounds are extensive and kept in good condition, there are light refreshments available. You can also take dogs in.
Always an amazing place, love the fishes that I hadn't seen before!
What a beautiful, historical gem to visit whilst in Bath. You should allow at least an hour to fully appreciate the windows, floor stones, burial plaques on the walls, other historical information and the general atmosphere. Stunning and we'll aged with amazing history. Recommended to any history buff or enthusiast.
What a wonderful place. Had a lovely peaceful walk around the abbey, enjoying looking at the gardens and trees as well as the abbey itself. The museum is also very interesting.
