My son has enjoyed living in Glassyard, and has renewed for a second year. The building is nice, he loves the area and the staff are amazing!!! When I was trying to help him book a studio for next year, we had some technical difficulties and Karene and Flor were super responsive and very helpful!! I definitely recommend!!!!
Just let me leave the fact I could not say few years ago when I was in the accommodation.nIt was summer holiday and nearly moved out, I stayed here until end of my contract.nI needed to receive one package at the reception which was red cloths priced about 200pounds.nWhen I check my tracking number, it was successfully received and signed but the ladies at the reception said they haven’t received.nWhen I see behind the reception lady, I saw something very similar to my cloth I bought. It was very unique printed red sweater joined gloves, so I asked let me see the cloth coz it is exactly what I bought.nBut she didn’t let me show even it is just 4meters far from the reception table and even I can see it!nI keep asked about 3mins but she really didn’t carry to let me check it to the table of reception, and she is so strangely mad.nJust be careful to order expensive thing.
Make sure you inspect your room SUPER THOROUGHLY at move in!!! They made me pay for “tape mark” damages caused by another student just because I did not indicate it on the initial form. Make sure to note down EVERYTHING. Other than this the building was good except for laundry.
As a UAL student it is fine because you are with other people even though its silent and a bit anti-social. BUT the actual accommodation is not as advertised. Its dirty and clearly used when you get welcomed to your room. Staff are lovely but it takes half of your renting time here to get your shower fixed or a complaint sorted. Plus the price is always going up every year for rent.
Arrived today with my son it was absolutely disgusting filthy dirty has not been cleaned in the slightest.Was heartbroken to leave him there.Its just not acceptable. Please be aware of photo's as its false advertising.
